Professionally I consider myself an entrepreneur, but in life, I'm much more a Maker of Mistakes. This is something that has become so entrenched in the way I live my life and the lessons I've learnt (from my mistakes) have empowered some incredible victories and successes.
Making Mistakes
Glasses Half-Full
Ask me about my success and I'll often tell you that I'm a one-hit-wonder. And whilst that one-hit has been a big hit, I now have 4 relatively significant failures under my belt.
Pep Talk
In the last year, I've allowed the world and other people to dictate terms to me in a way that has had a significant impact on my life. I've become more fearful of failure, less reluctant to experiment, more risk-averse, unadventurous and I have done so much just to avoid making mistakes.
"You Have the World at Your Feet"
The world is at our feet. And I'm definitely taking a few massive swings for the fences just because I can.
Making New Mistakes
I've been lucky in that the mistakes I've made have been relatively insignificant compared to the success I've had. WooThemes today represents a big part of the net difference between my mistakes and success.
